"Many things. I am contracted to kill him." his voice was quiet, carrying rather well over the hardened ground beneath them. His eyes were trained to the top of her head with her crown of brown curls, and he idly thought about what Azura saw in this woman. She was pretty, but not uncommonly so, and she had little ass to speak of.

Melora could feel him looking her over, which made her feel just more than a little dirty. What exactly was he looking at? She tensed but didn't bother to turn around and catch him in the act, knowing it would only serve to piss her off further.
"Yes, well, I have this one, so why don't you just not and say you did? And who exactly are you affiliated with, anyway?" She kept a professional enough tone, even though she honestly wanted to turn around and ask him what was just so GOD DAMN ENCHANTING about her that he had to continue to stare. But no, she knew he wasn't looking at her with lust. Not this one. She could feel it. He was secretly criticizing her. She wrinkled her nose at the though, not knowing for sure, but at least fairly certain. He would critique her the entire way.

"Can't do that," he said easily not referrign to which statement he was speaking of, but confident she'd get it eventually. He felt himself oddly pressed to speak more with her, finding she as a person, the demon, and her connections intriguing. it had been some time since he'd had a conversation. Perhaps that's why he was contantly feeling socially awkward. Feeling he at least needed to offer her something in the way of a reply, he continued. "I can't tell you what clan I'm from."

"I could so easily point out the number of laws that are against you withholding information from me as a member of the Banglaire. But..." Her lips curled int a smile as she made her way to the first cave, peering inside of it. There was nothing to be found, and it was a small and shallow cave anyway. "You're not my target. And if I knew everything about you then you would cease to be interesting." She turned back to him, looking him over. Yes, she decided, he'd be able to keep up with her. "Just make sure you keep up. And do something other than just make faces. The last vampire I was forced into contact with did that, it was annoying."
She continued to walk, adding on a second thought seconds later.
"Also. Don't break my belongings anymore."

He couldn't help himself. "I am interesting to you?" His amused smile caught the light of the moon in the frosty hair, his breathing undiscernable while her's came out in twin plumes from her nostrils. Quite like a dragon, he realized. However, unlike a dragon, she had an incessent need to speak. He wasn't of that persuasion, so it was a bit hard to handle at first, but he soon got used to her and her rambling as he side stepped a pair of mating scorpions at the mouth of another cave, this one looking a bit like a mine shaft. "Lapis mine," he commented softly, ignoring her previous statements about her things. She was disposable in his eyes, as well as her things. Then he mentally chided himself. or at least she would be if it weren't for the damn Gallu. He wondered if this women even knew what her ties to him meant.

"The vampire with half his face covered who barely speaks. Also, he insists on fucking following me. What's not to find interesting?"
She noted what he said quietly, she could barely hear him when he spoke. He was quiet, especially compared to the often loud natures of Anshel and Azura.
"Yes, it is. I assume you're here because of the incident at the Gallian safe house in Russia. I was unfortunately the reason for that. Konstantin has been chasing me ever since he revealed himself as alive." She had trained herself not to call him her father anymore, simply because he was no long her father, but instead the body of the man he was and a crazed killer underneath it. "He wants to turn me into a vampire, just so you're up to date on all this," She noted in a practiced way. She'd only had to explain this to just about everyone she came in contact with lately. "If we get a chance, I'll try to make sure that doesn't happen. If you think I'm a pain to deal with now, you'd do well to stay away from me if I become a vampire."

"Being a vampire would calm you down. Humans are often stupid." he said, processing and filing away the information he wasn't privy to. It wasn't much more than he already knew and as he toed a rock out of his way he considered his chances of finding Kinstantin again with this girl. She was like an assignment magnet, just another reason to follow. He noticed the nearly impreceptable twith of her facial muscles as she thought, noting the countenance that seemed blissfully adoring, the other clouded with malice. Two people, he decided. She was thinking of the king and someone else. Probably an ex boyfriend or something. Perhaps that's why she sought the favor of the Gallu. She was butt hurt and seeking a rebound.

Putting a hand to her head as she stopped walking, she shifted her weight onto her left leg, cocking her hip to the side. "It's going to get light out fairly soon. Did you happen to have a plan for surviving the sun in the middle of a dessert perhaps?" For Melora, continuing throughout the daytime would prove dangerous, the heat in a dessert wasn't something to mess with. For a vampire a dessert was probably the most fatal place on Earth, except areas with constant sun exposure.

Naoto rolled a shoulder, walking pass her. "I will hide in the cave systems. That's the logical thing to do, and if I must, I will travel in them as well." He spoke of it as if it were like a walk in the park; a simple stroll down the avenue. While he knew what sun exposure could do to him, it wasn't really a concern. If need be, he was fast enought o get well within a cave before it shone on him.

"Okay, as long as you've planned for that. I wasn't planning on having to travel with another vampire." Melora rolled her eyes to herself as she walked along behind him. Would she ever get to see the sunlight anymore? Not terribly likely. Melora had a creepy feeling about this Ito guy. She felt like if she left on her own he might get the wrong idea and knife her or something. She wasn't being followed, she was leading him to her father because she had to. Melora didn't know how to react to this except to let him do his thing. Sure, she could kill him, but without knowing his affiliations or political standing, that was dangerous business that could make her some enemies.

Naoto paused in mid-step looking into the depths of a mine shaft they's just passed. "Looks like a good place to hide..." he mused, sliding his eyes back to look at Melora. "Let's go." He walked back toward her, taking her by the upper arm and leading her over to the odd air shaft in the ground with a bit of rope anchored to a boulder outside. He motioned toward it with his free hand, the other resting on the hilt of his sword. Clearly, he wanted her to go in.

Melora shifted, taking her arm with her, attempting to be free from his grip. No luck. Still staring at him, she kicked a rock into the mine, waiting for it to strike the bottom of the mine. Two seconds or so later and it hit, meaning that the mine wasn't terribly deep. If he decided to release the rope on her she wouldn't plummet to her death, but it wouldn't be the most comfortable fall, either. Still the situation was a little more than suspicious. With her free hand she dug through her bag, pulling out a flashlight. Melora shone it down the opening of the shaft, noting that she could make her way back up if she needed to. "Perhaps you should go first. I'm not exactly a caves type of person."

"No," he said firmly, gesturing again. He sighed, wishing the woman wasn't so damn difficult and free spirited. What did she gain from such behavior anyway? Did the Gallu like this sort of thing? Then again from what he'd heard, the Gallu liked many, many things. "I'll follow. Don't worry."

"You honestly expect me to believe that. Really." Her tone was low, not questioning, but disbelieving. "If you think I'm the kind of girl that goes cake spelunking in the middle of the dessert because a vampire told me to then you are sadly mistaken, my друг." The last word, friend, was stressed, indicating that she didn't trust him even slightly. "How exactly do I know you're going to follow me and not leave me for dead? Answer me that and I might consider." Though she knew it was more than a suggestion. Apparently he planned to force her. Azura was much more of a gentleman, that was for sure.

With a growl Naoto walked swiftly up to the girl and gave her a push. Down she went. Hopefully she wouldn't sustain too many injuries, but what had to be done had to be done and he wasn't going to wait for her any longer. Her remarks had gotten the better of his as well. Damn that felt good. The parrot on his shoulders sqwaked in surprise, then flounced off the man as he grabbed the rope and began to repel down the shaft himself. As he'd said, he would follow her. He wasn't about to let his bounty tracker get away so easily.
