Ornock slammed his pick ax into the dirt and raised his towel to wipe the sweat off of his brow. He squinted up into the sky and sighed at the fact that it seemed that not even half of his day had passed and yet he was already sweating and starting to curse the job they were doing today. It was a new job site and considering they didn't have any green help today he was forced to dig the ditch himself. His boss being extremely cheap had not even rented an excavator or any such equipment to make it easy on the man and normally he would have put one of his underlings into the task for him but they were needed doing something that he felt would use their money draining time a little better. Oh how he hated these meat bags and their stupid need to feel like they are important. He just wanted to grab their heads in his hands and squeeze until their head popped like a white head on a teenagers face.
"Hey Boss! Someone is here to see you!" Ornock looked up and sighed. He twisted the pick axe up out of the ground and hoisted it up onto his shoulder walking over to the worker who had called for him. They generally didn't bother him unless they were without current direction or someone from corporate came down here to bug him. Claiming that they needed to 'protect' their investments they always loved to poke their head around the job sites even though Ornock knew that not a single one of these men knew what it meant to do an honest days work. They were all civil engineers and architects and annoying to a poor werewolf like himself. Not that any of them knew it. He walked up to the oddly dressed man and his senses caught an odd sense about the man. As he walked up he tilted his head in an unspoken question.
"How can I help you stranger?" Ornock didn't hold out his hand he just stared at the stranger. The stranger smiled "I think your workers should leave for a while. This job site wasn't approved by the local benefactors. You all should be leaving. If you catch my drift "
Ornock didn't so much as move as he stared at the member of la emme. He hated the smell of them. They smelled like hunters yet all they ever did was bully weaker humans then themselves. He brought a hand up and rubbed at one of his temples as he sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry that is going to be a problem. You see, my boss has all the permits necessary and I have been told its work time and work time it is. " He turned his head to his nearest worker and threw his head to one side. He looked forward again after the worker walked off and then he decided to tell the man the whole story. "Now, I am not able to negotiate with you, but you best stay away from this site again. I have been retained here as a ...... certain retainer for my ability to deal with ........ idiots like yourself. You will never understand but tell your boss that long tooth is here and he needs to back off"
He turned from the man not even really paying attention to the man anymore that is. Until he heard the clear cocking of a gun. Apparently this man didn't know who he was. He didn't have time for inaction though. "I said this site is closed, now it's fucking closed you dumb shit. You motherless bastard better leave in the next five minutes or me and my boys will be back to kill you all. Understand? Or was that bitch of a whore who opened her legs to sire you made you dense as well as stupid esse?"
Ornock's whole body tensed as he almost looked at this man. His eyes seemed to do something weird but since no one could see there was no indicator of his next course of action. No one spoke of his mother this way. No one. He spun quickly bringing the pick ax into play. It bit cleanly into the side of the man's skull causing it to cave in and he drove it straight down to the ground. The man didn't even have time to fire the gun before he died. Ornock sprinted towards the car that the man got out of before his buddies could get out. Ornock lifted the front end of the car and threw it to the right into the side of a hill. He was on it again before it fully settled. He punched a hole in the door and opened it further with the claws that had half way appeared on his hands. He grabbed the nearest man and tore out his throat then dove into the car. Several seconds later the car's windows were all covered in blood. His job done Ornock pulled a cell phone out of his pocket reporting that the local branch of la emme was done with and that he expected his money in his account in 6 hours.
Nine hours later Ornock was positioned on the border that separated Mexico from America. Normally he didn't choose to just cross the border like this actually having dual citizenship but at the moment he didn't feel like going through customs and getting a new stamp since he crossed illegally down into Mexico the last time he came through. He was heading to Vegas now that his bank held a rather large sum of money in it. He loved to gamble and it made him appear normal. Besides there was some construction jobs up here that he could do and make some more money. It seemed to him like for once his luck was about to change. No mafioso from Mexico would report that six men had been killed by one man especially an unarmed man at that. So he felt moderately safe so long as they didn't get a hair up their ass to hire some hunters to kill him.
