Melora didn't know if she should believe him about not wooing her. Perhaps because him not being even slightly interested hurt her pride as a woman, or perhaps because she didn't want to admit that she had just lost a game of sexually tensed chicken with a vampire. Still, she shrugged and grabbed her coat, checking for all of her weapons before slipping it on over her shoulders. "We should go quickly. Also we should be on our guard, the last thing I need is someone knowing where I live." She slipped past him quite closely and out of the room, waiting by his door for him to lead the way out of the safehouse.

Azura rolled his eyes and exited the room, heading down the stairs and out through the front door onto the street. "Well, you don't exactly live there, and besides, you're coming back with me and then we're leaving for Ankara. I don't see why you're so worried." He rolled a shoulder in utter indifference as he turned on her, raising a glossy brow to indicate that she should be leading him. He wasn't her stalker, it was the other way around. He had no idea where she was staying.

"I do not live there most of the time, but that is because I don't like being here in Russia too often, it serves as a reminder." She turned and led the way onto the street, walking quickly. "I prefer not to be here, and most of the time I avoid it." Her voice was as cold as the night air, her true feelings on Russia was that it turned into a dirty, vampire run city, and the fact that she was walking with one only served to reinforce that. Melora turned a corner, in a huff thinking about her past and Moscow's relation to it. She wasn't being terribly cautious to check on who may have been standing around the corner. All at once she was grabbed and held, spun around from her assailant so she had no idea who they were. Until she heard a familiar voice from the past 24 hours.
"I see you found your Prince, Miss Belikov. However it is time for me to take you for my own, your scent is simply too intoxicating. Do you not agree, Prince Gallu?" Nery clutched Melora to her tightly, holding the hunter's arms down at her sides. She breathed heavily on Melora's neck, lusting after her. "You would be surprised how long I have been following you. Those people you killed were tasty, but will not compare to you." Melora's stomach turned when she thought of Nery eating all of those people she had helped bring down. She kicked her feet out and struggled, but made contact with nothing except the air and the vampire's shins, though it would do no good, Nery was drunk from bloodlust.

When Azura came upon them second after she'd been snatched, he raised a brow in surprise. Tilting his head to the side like a curious bird, he brought a hand up to his chin, finger tapping it in thought. "What is your name?" he asked with a smile toward the vampiress. His eyes narrowed on her, taking in her state and her scent. She'd over fed, and was now feeling the rather blissful, but dangerous effects of committing such an act. Blood lust was something all normal vampires tried to avoid. It made you stupid, and a stupid vampire was a dead one. He kept his distance from the Hunter and her captor, maintaining an air of indifference, though she wasn't out of arm's reach if he so chose to pry her from the woman. On his watch, and with the weight behind her title, this little human was probably worth the few claw marks to keep intact.

"Let go of me Nery or I'll have you turned in a put on trial!" Melora continued to thrash at the air but couldn't break free, Nery's hold on her was so strong that she could barely move, and she was beginning to feel dizzy in her grasp. Nery laughed.
"You could not have me put on trial dead, Hunter." Nery smiled, fangs growing. "I could just turn you, could I not?" she mused as she brushed her long fangs across the Hunter's neck. Melora began to thrash even harder at the thought, desperate to be out of the creatures arms.
"I would sooner die" Melora insisted. She attempted to shift to grab one of her weapons, no such luck.
"Hey, Prince. You can have any girl in any city." Nery muttered coaxingly "Allow me to have this one, please? Rumour has it that Belikov blood is delicious....we could share if you'd like." She drew her fangs away from Melora's neck to grin at Azura, then returned them, even more dangerously close than before. Melora could feel the points of the fangs grazing her delicate skin. She was too close, if she attempted to escape now, Nery would turn her into a snack. She couldn't depend on the Prince either, so she stopped thrashing and tried to compress herself as much as possible, hoping she could slip from the vampire's grip before Nery knew what the fuck was going on. She breathed out and prayed it would be enough, but no such luck, Nery's grip on her had been tightening since she got a hold of her. This was such an embarrassing oversight on her part....sure, she had been in worse scrapes, but never in front of a Prince and rival.

No sooner had the vampiress dragged her fangs a second time across the Hunter's neck, Azura grabbed her by the throat and squeezed. Hard. "You never answered my question," he said in a deceptively calm and cheerful voice. "Shall we try it again? What is your name, and what clan do you belong to?" His eyes narrowed a sign that he was dangerously close to bloodying his clothing again. With his free hand, he pried loose Nery's hand from one of the human's forearms.

This was all the help Melora needed. In one quick swoop she reached for a pistol, found it, and, looking around to make sure no one was around, fired two shots into the stomach of her captor. Nery's second arm dropped and Melora hit the ground with a quiet click of her heels. Nery scratched at Azura's hands to free herself, but with no success. A drop of blood ran down Melora's neck from being grazed by Nery's teeth, and Nery outstretched her arms and clawed at the air between her and the hunter in a final attempt to once again capture her prey. Melora Kept her weapon drawn, prepared to shoot the woman between the eyes. Still, she couldn't kill her without bringing her into the courts, so she hoped that the Gallian Prince would take enough offense at her behaviour towards him to finish her off. Nery's hands one again returned to the Prince's, no longer clawing but instead desperately pulling at his grasp to free herself.

Azura sighed and uttered a single word... "Pathetic" ...before biting into her neck himself. It took several long minutes to drain her to a point of unconsciousness, and even when he dropped her body to the ground she wasn't dead. But she would be soon enough. "A shame. She was actually very pretty." He mused as he turned on his heel away from her, wiping the blood off of his mouth with the back of his hand. A few drops had succeeded in staining his new shirt, but nothing anyone would look twice at. He'd seen nastier stains from men who shaved. Glancing over at the hunter, and seeing that she was ok, he gestured for her to continue leading the way.

Shaken, Melora took a second to reflect on that moment. If she had been paying attention she wouldn't have gotten into trouble. She needed to stay in this town like she needed a pair of fangs in her neck. She paid no mind to the scratch on her neck and let it drip blood, in fact, she hadn't even noticed she'd been scratched at all. Melora began walking, somewhat in an eerie daze from what had just happened. Why hadn't she been able to sense the vampire at such a close range? It made no sense to her. She mulled over the situation over and over again in silence until she came to the door of her apartment building. She turned and opened her mouth to Azura to ask a question, but the words didn't come to her, so instead she just mumbled "Nevermind" as she opened the door for him. They were greeted at the door by her cat, who Melora ignored in favor of changing her clothes as quickly as possible. She completely forgot the Prince was there as she began to undress, lost in her thoughts and mumbling to herself in Russian about how foolish she had been. It wasn't until she was down to her undergarments that she turned, remembering all too quickly that the vampire had followed her in. Her face turned bright red and she froze. The blood from her neck dripped down to her collar bone, but Melora was too embarrassed to do anything about it. How could she play this off? "Um....apologies" she said thickly before opening a drawer and searching for some clothes. Maybe if she covered it up as if she knew he'd been there all along then he wouldn't think anything of it.

"Well, I would say you're entirely welcome, but it appears this isn't a 'thank you'." His nostrils flared at the scent of her blood. The Nery had been right. it did smell delicious. Fortunately for him, he could control himself. That, and there was something far more distracting than blood in the room. A pretty lady was all he really needed as a form of distraction from just about everything. "And if it was, I'd say that your strip tease needed work." He gave her a fanged smile, and turned, politely showing her his back. He'd give her the privacy she needed. Apparently she was even more of a clueless, bumbling, child than he'd given her credit for. He had a real nasty habit of overestimating people.

"Yes, thank you," she replied from underneath a shirt, ignoring his comment about her getting undressed. Her arms were stuck and she had to maneuver herself a little to untangle herself, which probably just looked like her flailing her arms about. Finally as the shirt came on, she released a heavy sigh, still taking no mind to her scratch. She couldn't feel it at all and didn't know it was there, otherwise her would have cleaned it up already seeing as she had a vampire as her guest. Speaking of guest..."Um. I am dressed now. Would you like some tea as I prepare my things to leave?" Her accent had gotten thicker even with just the little bit of time she'd spent here. It would take it days to fade again. Melora approached the vampire, stupidly so as she didn't know about her cut which still lay open on her neck. "If I can get you anything while you are here, please just be asking me." Even to a vampire, Melora was always taught to be a gracious host. Melora had even been known to offer simple comforts to the criminals she brought in for trial. There was no sense in torturing them, their judgment in the court would undoubtedly do that without her even needing to think up torture techniques.

"Tea," he said, turning back around and reaching out out a finger to swipe the bit of blood from her neck. "Sounds lovely." He popped his finger into his mouth and nearly shuddered at the taste. He'd have to look up a few Belikov's, even a distant relative might be just as tasty. While most human blood was the equivalent of a really juicy flank steak, this little human's was more like that of a full rack of grade A triple barbecued ribs. He lost himself in his lame analogies, only human food having ever been consumed were meats. He tried vegetables once and promptly spit them out, thinking the crunch was far too much for him. On some of them he might break his delicate fangs. He almost whimpered at the thought of losing a fang. What a tragedy that would be. His eyes combed her little apartment, curious as to what he could learn form her here. The cat, and he said the word with distaste, was one thing. The woman was obviously crazy. Only crazy people ever had cats. He even read once that they caused a condition known as schizophrenia, though he had a hard time believing that such a worthless creature could pose such a problem. Perhaps that's what his brother and that bitch had seen in common. He growled just thinking about it.

Melora watched him pop a drop of her blood into his mouth and shuddered, bringing her hand to her neck. This man was dangerous to be around, not only because he was a vampire, but because whether she liked it or not, he seemed to command her attention. She walked into the kitchen. "I know it seems small and simple," she started to explain while searching through the cabinets "But as I explained, I do not stay here. And when I do, staying in a small place makes me seem more" she paused and pulled out the tea, setting it on the counter. "What is the word for it in English? Normal, I suppose works in this statement." Melora continued to make tea while he looked around the apartment. "I stay in so many luxurious locations that this place is more like a vacation for me than any other." She set the tea down on the coffee table in front of the couch, then went back to the kitchen, emerging seconds later with sugar and tea cups. She poured a cup of tea for him, then continued to sweep through the apartment, tidying and looking for the things she needed to travel with. "The sun will rise soon, do you intend for us to travel before it emerges, or in the evening?"

"You're trying too hard to explain yourself. I don't mind the simplicity of this place. I have a retreat myself. Being around too much glamor gets tiring for me." he picked up his teacup, but didn't sit down, preferring to peruse the place, finding every detailed bit of information he could find. To be honest, she reminded him of Queen Elizabeth II with her mannerisms and taste in decor. "And as the second son," he continued. "I was not raised to expect much luxury, only what I was offered, really. Since my brother's expulsion I've been trying to get used to it, but I'm still a little rough around the edges." Speaking about it to someone actually made him feel a little better. He was so often with a member of the nobles or alone, and couldn't speak with someone about such matters. When he was younger, he'd find his brother. Unfortunately that luxury was long gone. He paused a moment more, examining her as she busied herself. "We're leaving at dusk. It's too risky to try and catch a flight at this hour."

She stopped and looked at him, it was like talking to a friend. He didn't seem bent on addressing her as a hunter anymore, but it seemed more like he was interested in speaking to her directly. He could just be faking it to be polite, but Melora didn't get that impression from him. "If you'd like you are more than welcome to make yourself comfortable in my bedroom and sleep there, I have a large bed that you might find suitable." Melora offered her room by way of gesturing towards the open door. "The sunlight doesn't make it's way through those windows so that I can sleep at any time of the day."
