Despite his Barrier, Ahroun felt some of the blow and his shoulder would be bruised for awhile but nothing was broken. He dried his claws of the blood and reverted back to his human form. He moved the roots aside and had them carve out a hole for the deer's corpse which he buried with a hung head. Your sister sleeps now. He said to the other deer as he made his way back towards where he had left the twins. "I hope that she didn't feed..." He said to himself as he broke into a run. He reached the road around a minute later.

Rima curled up in a tiny ball, drawing her knees to her chest, tears budded in her eyes. though unable to spill over. What had she done? Thomas was drained, though she had fed some back in, but he was still down. Had she... had she killed him? What was she? The demon, or something worse? Thousands of questions swirled together in her mind.

The Werewolf was taken aback by what he saw. Rima was animated again, she had fed, and now Thomas was unmoving. He carefully walked closer to Rima. "Did you...feed on your brother?" He asked quietly so as to not startle her, his voice was full of pity. He didn't believe that Vampires were innately evil but he had never been this close to a brand new Vampire. Seems that now he would be able to find out for sure.

Rima hid her face in her hands, horror and anxiety, and shame rolling off of her in ways. "What am I? Why did I do that? Why did that man do that to me? Am I plagued now? Will I die?" Questioned bubbled up between whimpers and the occasional sob. Her entire body was trembling, hair hiding her face.

Ahroun wasn't really sure how to break the news to her so he figured he would just tell her bluntly, get it over quickly. She seemed to still be herself despite being undead and he was glad for this. It meant that he didn't need to kill her right away, or at all possibly. Maybe he would be able to let her live and help her learn to not be an evil monster. "Ye are dead, in a way. That thing turned ye into a Vampire, and from the looks of it ye turned your brother too. You are going to need to feed on the blood of a living thing every now and then, I'm not sure how often but if you don't you die...again...for real." He was bad at explaining something he usually just wound up killing in the end. "Your brother needs blood or else he will die again too. Do you know of any pastures around here?"

She inhaled sharply, crawling stiffly over to shift his head into her lap, taking on an almost motherly role in the way she stroked his hair. "I did this to him." Her voice was a barely audible whisper, guilty spilling into her words. A tear his his cheek, making his eyelids flutter, dark lashes dancing over the surface of icy white flesh. "I'm so sorry, baby brother." She whispered, then turned back to the Irishman.
"Not many, be a little while east there's one." The vampiress spoke, eyes like reflective mirrors in the moonlight.

"We had better get there soon then. He won't last much longer, that is, if you want him to be like this." He knew it was a hard choice but she had to make it. "If you don't let him feed he will die, but then he wouldn't be a Vampire either. Yes you did do this to him, but you don't have to take responsibility, you can let him go, it may even be better, your family already has one Vampire in it now. You could tell them he was killed by an animal." He stood slowly and waited for her decision.

She licked her lips, tongue suddenly feeling heavy in her mouth. "I can't." Her grip tightened on him, almost as though she were afraid he'd be torn from her hands any second. "I don't know if you have any siblings, but twins are closer then brother or sister. He is my twin, my baby-brother, my responsibility." Rima lowered his head to the ground, before moving to stand. "I can't tell Carmen, or Father that. His death would kill me too. Can we go?"

Ahroun sighed, but nodded at the same time. "We can go, you should lead the way, I can carry him." He knelt down and tucked his arms under his head and legs, lifting him easily. The boy was light and his breathing was very shallow and strained. "He really doesn't have much time."

She shot the man a look, catching his arm. "Please, be careful with him." Hurriedly she started off in the direction she had stated.
Less then ten minutes later, she gathered her skirts, slipping over the fence with a grace only a vampire could manage. "What do we do know?" She asked her companion, growing desperate to keep her brother alive. Several cattle lazily made their way toward a sort of shelter, not to terribly far off.

"You have to get him to drink the blood of one of the cattle. As much as it takes for him to regain consciousness. You may have to kill one of them for enough blood, but at first let him drink it while the animal still lives..." He felt slightly sick to his stomach, he was aiding Vampires of all things. "Just do it quickly. I assume you have a knife or something, you wouldn't go into the wilderness without something for protection would you?"

The vaguest traces of something like a smile, a humorless one, came to her face, and she bend over, moving a fold of dress to draw out a sharpened dagger. "This should suffice. Father would be angered if he knew." Her shoulders slumped, then squared with the determination for the task at hand.
Moments later she was at a cow's side, stoking it with a false promise of a treat. The brown eyes nearly made her cry, but the cow followed her soon enough, even pausing to sniff at Thomas when it neared. In that second the wet nose pressed to his jaw, his body wrenched up, slicing teeth into his neck, dangerously close to its windpipe.

The Werewolf jumped slightly but didn't move to attack. "Aye, that works as well I suppose.." He looked away as the boy fed. "Just...let him get his fill." Everything he was doing now was against his very nature and he felt odd for doing it. Killing one Vampire but saving and helping two new ones didn't sit well with him. He knew it would be bad to betray their trust not, but he really didn't think he could let them live their undeath for much longer.

"What was that?" Rima's eyebrows knit together suddenly, turning to face him. Her pupils were entirely silver, blotting out the darkness that was her pupil. Conor would've felt the faintest coil, almost like a serpent, seeming to slip through through his mind. Unknowingly, the new born had delved into his thoughts, or rather, the faint whispers of incomplete ones. "What did you just whisper?"
The cow made a noise, folding its legs to lay down.

"I didn't whisper anything...Ohh...Ye are one of the type that can read minds. You gotta be careful with that, its dangerous for everyone." He frowned. "I wonder what other abilities you'll get." He knew how to keep his mind clear, he had dealt with these before. I'm worried about them. His mind gave away however.
