"God dammit." Thomas muttered, flopping flat, then rolling sideways as the cow raised itself from the ground and bolted away. His sister crouched near him once she nodded to Conor, seeming to consider it, and not quite miss the thought. She murmured seberal soothing phrases in thick Italian before an idea occurred to her, and she turned back to the red haired man. "How do you know these things?"

Conor seemed to be doing a lot of sighing lately. "I'm a Werewolf...One of your 'Demons.' There is no reason for me to hide it anymore. Your brother would have informed you of some of my strengths anyway. I didn't want to frighten you..." He hung his head. "I'm sorry." And he really was.

Slowly she rose, and instead of her eyes turning hateful and hostile, they turned soft and understanding. She gave his forearm a gentle squeeze with tiny, chilly hands. "Don't be. It appears... as though... many people have been forced to hide reality."
Thomas propped himself up, looking woozy.

His initial reaction was to shy away from her hand but he didn't. She isn't like the others. he allowed himself to think. He voiced it as well. "You are the first kind Vampiress I have ever come across. It is strange, and please don't be offended when I say this, but I assumed that they were always either bad before they were turned, or it came with becoming one. I have mixed feelings about being proven wrong..." He smiled at her though. "At least I have someone to relate to who isn't furry like myself."

Rima nodded, considering his words, but sat down to offer a silent aid to her brother, the comfort of companionship. "I take that as a compliment, not an offense. That is a good thing, isn't it?" Patting Thomas's back, silvery eyes fixed once more on the Irishman. "I mean, despite good and evil, isn't their said to be good someplace in both?" Despite the innocence from which the words came, they came with confidence and an unspoken power to them.

Ahroun shrugged. "I've been proven wrong before and the words ring true." He sat on the fence that bordered the pasture and let his leg dangle as he looked up at the moon. "Nothing is really pure though is it?" He turned his eyes to her's again and found he wasn't afraid of her anymore in the least. She was still the young woman he had met the previous afternoon and she was probably more afraid than he was. "What are you going to say to your parents if anything?"

Rima turned her face downward. "Parent, actually. My-" She hastily corrected herself, remembering Thomas in her thoughts. "Our, Mother was killed in a fire when I was small." She said quietly, concentrating on the face that she could only remember as a burning blur and hands shuffling her to try to help her escape.

"I'm...Sorry to hear that. I did not mean to bring up a sad memory..." He turned away from her. "Must have been tough without her. You turned out fine it seems though...All things considered now." He tried to be as least offensive as possible while referencing her new situation. "What are you going to tell your father then?"

"Its fine, just a tick in the hide." Rima shrugged, ignoring the hurt. She was long beyond tears.
"Nothing." Thomas answered Conor. "Certainly nothing, unless we want to go beg to not be staked, right Rima?" His logic was brutal, but true, earning a wince and small nod from her. "Good, we need to get away then."
"I... see." Her voice was sad.

"Where do you plan on going?" He tilted his head questioningly. "Even though you are both Vampires now you are still young." Conor wasn't much older himself, but he had been changed for much longer and time seemed to go slower for him. "It obviously isn't safe in these parts." He frowned.

"Perhaps we could-" Rima started. Thomas shook his head. "Maybe-" "No, no, remember? Carmen's friends live there..." "Then Venice?" Thomas tried again.
No matter who you were, or what species for the matter, Twin talk could be deemed odd at the very least. Despite the fact it was clear neither was using any form of telepathy, it was also clear they did have some sort of bond, running bone deep.
Rima sighed after a few more minutes of mingled confusion and frustration. "Might we be able to accompany you?"

Conor was pondering on if Thomas had obtained telepathic abilities as well until the question was directed at him. He paused and blinked as if struck dumb for a moment. Normally Vampires avoided him and he them if it could be helped and he had no idea what it would be like to be near one for an extended time, granted he already had been. "I...I don't know. I need to be heading North again and there are a lot of others...like me, who have no idea that pleasant Vampires exist." He turned it over in his head, not caring if she could hear him. They might kill them if these two are found out...I don't want that.

If it was possible, the white of Rima’s flesh paled further as that thought was unwillingly snared in her thoughts. She winced, but smoothed her face just before Thomas could catch her distress. “I-. We-. I-.” She stammered.
“What’s wrong?” He questioned frostily, shooting a look of suspicion at the man but a few feet away.
‘Would it be worth the risk? Rima’s own thought was broadcasted into Conor’s mind.

I don't think it would be wise to bring you all the way back into the territory of The United...But there are some neutral villages. The humans living in those places are very wary of both Werewolves and Vampires...but they will accept money from both. Something occurred to him that they might not have heard about. He spoke this out loud in case Thomas knew anything. "Have either of you heard of Hunters?" He tried to put emphasis on the word to separate the special class from the every day hunters.

The pair's brows knit together, Thomas's brow deepening slightly more in the middle. "Hunters..." He drawled the word slowly. "Not in the way you are trying to speak of them in..."
"What are they? Dangerous, I presume?" Rima questioned sharply. Great, immortality, becoming a demon blood drinker, and the knowledge that they'd be killed soon. "You won't give us to them if they are bad?" She inhaled sharply, anxiety radiating from her.
