"Hunters, as far as I know, work for money or some self-righteous ideal that anything non-human isn't worthy of life..." He spat in disgust. "They will kill you as soon as look at you. They'd do the same to me." He sighed. "Welcome to the world within the world...Its not pretty, but we manage. You can travel with me until we find a nice enough place for you to live. Do you have anything of value that you want to retrieve before we go?"

"You spoke of money, we have some coin hidden back home, it'd probably be best to retrieve it before we go. It might come in handy." Thomas nodded, standing. He'd always been good with finances, which was exactly why the third brick of the second story window was hallow, for him to store his funds to prepare to leave. He knew his sister was far to spirited to settled, and he himself would much rather travel.
Rima's hand fluttered to the hallow of her throat, eyes getting a distant look. Her nod was numbed with memories. The gold piece had been heated enough in the center, and that stranger when she was young had put the strange light blue stone in it to replace the tiny void from the melted metal. It had made her feel like a little Princess...

"I'm going to assume that this won't be the first time that you have sneaked into your own home after dark. Lead the way and I'll keep a lookout for you two while you get what you need or want." He noted Rima's daze look but decided to not comment on it.

"Ri?" Thomas clicked his tongue like a mother hen, tapping his foot and catching her shoulders to gently shake her, though he got the feeling that it wouldn't be to hard to shake her hard enough to break her in two either.
"Y- yeah." She stammered, shaking herself. She ran her tongue over her lips, tugging at the lower one with a fang. "We should be alright, as long as out older sister isn't sneaking in at the same time."

Conor was led to the outskirts of Florence by the twins and they kept quiet and down as they neared the humble home. "Be quick, I'll stay out here to make sure we aren't found. What do I do if your sister shows up..?" He added as an afterthought. He hoped that if the sister did discover them she would be easy to subdue to allow the twins to run and he could catch up to them later.

"Just tell-" Rima started, then cringed.
"Oh, look who finally decided to show up! You two are in a lot of trouble! Father wanted his supplies hours ago! He had to tell Mister Lorden that he had to put it off, and change several of his appointments!" The voice was shrill with anger, similar to her sister's though slightly rougher. The door slammed shut, a lantern lighting up the small party.
"Carmen, just go back inside," Thomas sounded exasperated.
“Absolutely not!” Carmen, now illuminated, did share some of her sister’s characteristics as well, the same cheek bones, eyes, and skin type, (though Rima’s was drastically lighter now, as a vampire), though her hair was a brown, their father’s color. “Oh-“ She faltered in her yelling. “Thomas, you’ve been an escort? Has my darling baby sister finally-" She peered at the Irishman, eyeing him carefully.
Rima’s eyes went wide, cheeks flooded with what crimson she’d drunk from her brother.

Conor's eyes went wide for a moment while he gathered his thoughts. He spoke to Rima through thoughts. Follow my lead. He cleared his throat then scratched the back of his neck looking abashed. "Well, it seems we've been found out...We met the other day and Rima here has been showing me around, I'm new to the area." His foreign accent made this highly probable. "She has just been so kind to me that I couldn't help but start to fall for her..." He looked up as if he were trying to avoid everyone's gaze.

Rima cringed mentally. 'Are you mad!? She squeaked mentally, reserved. But if he really thought it'd help... She took a step in his direction, resting a hand on his forearm.
Thomas turned, vampire speed kicking in for a fraction of a second to spin ang give their companion a baffled look, before spinning back, leaving Carmen glaring at her brother.
"Thomas, do you need a Doctor? Stop that twitching." She snapped, turning back to Conor. He didn't appear to be somebody her sister would get along with, she never seemed to get along with men save for their father and brother. Plenty of suitors had tried, all had failed. The gear were practically seen, turning in her head, drawing conclusions.
"Well then." She stated finally. "Its a pleasure to meet you....?" She trailed off.

Don't worry Thomas, this is just to make your sister here feel more comfortable. He grinned at Rima, his more fun-loving side kicking in. "Oh, my apologies, my name is Conor Flanagan." He put his hand out to shake Carmen's. "You live in a very beautiful area I might add." He said, trying to steer the conversation away from them.

Carmen took his hand, her own dwarved in its mass. "Carmen Jeni Donavon." She nodded, small flickers of a smile coming to her.
"Where's father?" Thomas muttered.
"Father is rebinding some Bibles at the church." Carmen glared at him. Those two of the three clearly did not get along. Turned to Conor, she asked, "Did you want to wait to meet him, or...?" She glanced at her sister.
Rima swallowed, plastering her own smile on in response to Conor's grin.

An idea occurred to Conor. "Perhaps we could go meet him at the church dear?" He looked at Rima with a telling smile on his face. "You two could gather the things you came to get and then we could go on over and meet him. He is probably busy and we wouldn't try to take up too much of his time." He forgot about the telepathy for a minute and just hoped that she picked up on his hints that they should just leave after they had what they needed.

Carmen suddenly looked curious. Thomas bit back laughter.
"Sure, dear," Rima turned to Carmen, eyes flashing solid silver, like a coin. "What's wrong sister dear? Are you going to stop us?"
Carmen mumbled something. "No, feel free to elope." Her voice was hallow, following the movements Rima's lips made when she spoke.
Thomas laughed.

Conor was confused for a moment then realized what was going on. He sighed, I take it she wouldn't have gone along with us otherwise? Out loud he said, "Well you two had better go get your things then. Don't want to keep him waiting." He gently ushered Rima and Thomas towards the door.

Thomas was in the house in an instant, going to retrieve supplies while ignoring their rambling sister.
Rima turned on him, batting thick black eyelashes cutely. "Pretty much. She may have her quirks, but she's not stupid. I just happen to be craftier." She tapped his chin, turning to walk off.

Conor stood dumbstruck for a second not expecting this from Rima, he had only been around her for half a day so far but this seemed very out of character for her. He didn't exactly mind but it seemed to him that she was changing in more ways than just physical and ability. He stepped into the house after them, also ignoring Carmen. He leaned against the wall next to the door while he waited.
