Rima was up the stairs and snatching up the pendant at lightening speeds. Never, would she take it off, that much she vowed on the spot upon getting it back in her grasp. Secondly, she snatched up clothes, folding them into a bundle. She left the fancier gowns, keeping three others similar to what she had on, working gowns. She descended thge stairs a moment later, leaving Thomas rummaging around up stairs.
Rima's eyes lightened. "I almost forgot." She was at a bookshelf in a moment. If she couldn't keep it, it would sure as heck sell for a heafty amount. But still, when she opened a thick brown volume, her eyes skimmed the page. Reading.

Conor began to muddle over the time it would take to get back to Ireland. If we keep a steady pace and we are lucky with who we meet on the way, we could probably make it in a week or so. He looked over at Carmen who hadn't moved. I wonder if that one will be okay... He shrugged and continued to relax against the wall, he kept a ear out in case anyone began to approach the house.

Rima frowned, turning to look at him, then approach her sister. "I wonder..." She swallowed audibly, confused as to why Carmen hadn't begun to move. "Carrrmmeennn." She trailed the word out with worry, waving a hand in front of her sister's face. "Carmen!" Rima snapped sharply.
The other women jolted, rubbing her forehead. "No need to yell."
Thomas started to come down the stairs.

Conor was relieved to see that she was okay but he was worried again. "Now what do we do with her?" He asked out loud of Rima and Thomas. He was eager to begin the journey, he was out of his natural habitat and yearned for his home forest. "Do you have everything you need?"

THomas snapped his fingers at Carmen, waving a hand inside. "Go rest," She mumbled, not in the trance like state, more like a child having their fun ruined, but walked off.
Rima smiled crookedly. "Yeah, dear." She giggled. "Father is going to get quite the shock when Carmen tells him our little lie."

"I think any father would if he found out something like that." He chuckled. "Well if you are both ready then, we will travel by night and rest for the day. We have a few hours left until daybreak we can make some good distance." He stepped outside, located North by the stars and waited patiently. He figured this must be at least somewhat hard for them, he suspected they had never been too far from home before.

Rima and Thomas hesitated, two pairs of eyes sliding over their childhood home, taking in each and every aspect with their new, clear eyes. They would not forget this place. Ever. Thomas turned, continuing after Conor, but Rima remained, trailing her finger tips over the outside wall. A single tear of liquid silver ran down her cheek, and hit the ground, forming a tiny iridescent puddle, before she turned to the men, following with her face obscured by her hair.
"So," Thomas tried once they were well away from the buildings. "Who were those people you mentioned earlier, who would take us in for a price? How well do you know them?"

"I just know of a few villages around where I live that don't mind Vampires and Werewolves living there if they keep out of trouble and support the town somehow. I know the innkeeper at one of them who will likely let you stay there till we find somewhere more suitable." He paused to stretch his arms and legs quickly, limbering up for the long journey ahead of them. "They are decent people, just don't piss anyone off or they will run for the pitchforks."

"Would those pitchforks hurt us though?" Thomas drew out his dagger, curiously running it over his flesh in the idea, and getting nothing more then a paper cut.
Rima gasped, striding foreward to backhand him, a sharp smacking sound coming when her hand impacted the back of his skull. "Do not mess around like that!" She exclaimed, pulling his arm in front of her and inspecting, seeing... nothing.
Thomas flashed a shit eating grin.

"They were smart enough to make silver pitchforks...and they are likely to be blessed. So yes, they would most likely hurt." He smirked at the ingenuity of the people there. Most would be too afraid to even consider letting their kind in, but they took precautions and made a profit most of the time instead. "Let's keep moving and keep conversation to a minimum for now, we need to get as far as we can then try to find shelter so we can rest during the day." He led by example and stopped talking. He also began to pick up speed, the roots that would trip most seemed to move out of his way on their own.

"Huh, silver as a weakness." Thomas slowly nodded. "And blessed, Sounds bad."
Both twins let out snorts, but were managing to keep up when asked to be quiet.
Rima narrowed her eyes on him, watching carefully. She was half tempted to ask, (*gasps* vulgar), for pair of Thomas's pants. Skirts were not made for running. 'You didn't band this talking.' She stuck her tongue out at Conor. 'How are you doing that... thing, anyway?'

True, this talking doesn't require lung usage and allows us to keep a fast pace. What...'thing'? He honestly had no idea what she was asking about. He heard the sound of a river up ahead in the distance and wondered if there might be a cave somewhere near there that they could stay at. He decided that when they reached the river he would follow it upstream, hopefully it was relatively in the same direction they were already traveling.

'These new eyes aren't blind. Those legs of the trees move like serpents in your path. How are you doing it?' She clearified, eyeing him carefully, before she jumped to get ahead of her brother. She wasn't even tired, or winded. She should be tired...

Oh...That. Moving the roots around so that he didn't trip had long since become something he did unconsciously. The plants and animals of the world obey my command, I merely do not wish to trip so I will that they move for my feet to move freely. He explained nonchalantly as if he had had the powers for his entire life.

Rima was drawn to silence for a long minute, seeming to get lost in thoughts. 'Were you born with your gifts? They are fascinating. And if I might ask, this has been nagging for a while, how does one become a werewolf, such as yourself?'
